UP to Begin Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls in 2026

Uttar Pradesh will conduct a Special Summary Revision (SSR) of electoral rolls starting with polling station reorganization by November 2, 2026. The draft electoral roll will be published on November 12, with claims and objections accepted until December 11. Resolution of claims will be completed by December 28, and the final list will be published on January 4, 2027, as per the Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa and Election Commission directives.
