UP Government Raises Dearness Allowance by 5% from July 2026

The Uttar Pradesh government has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees and pensioners by 5%, raising it from 58% to 63% under the 7th Pay Commission. This hike, effective from July 2026, will be paid with the November salary along with arrears from July to October. The increase benefits state employees, aided teaching and technical institutions, and urban local body staff. Arrears will be deposited into employees' provident fund accounts.
