UP CEO Sarcastically Responds to Voter Slip Caste Bias Allegations
Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa responded sarcastically to caste bias allegations after an erroneous voter slip entry. He said computers and software are not casteist and joked that if the slip had said 'Ram hit a minority,' authorities would have been accused of communalism. The controversy arose when AAP MP Sanjay Singh questioned the Chief Election Commissioner about the entry 'Ram ne Yadav ko Maara' in the voter slip.
