University of Glasgow Develops £20 Ultrasound Device to Produce Fertiliser
Researchers at the University of Glasgow have created an affordable ultrasound device costing £20 that produces nitrate fertiliser using sound waves, air, and water. This method avoids reliance on industrial production like the Haber-Bosch process. Although promising, the device currently consumes more energy than traditional methods. The team aims to improve the design within a year for practical agricultural use.
