Universities Challenge Abrupt ICE CPT Restriction for International Students

In August, US colleges abruptly informed international students that Curricular Practical Training (CPT) would no longer be allowed following new ICE guidance. ICE stated that if practical training is mandatory for a course, American students must also participate; otherwise, CPT cannot be exclusive to international students. This led to immediate notices from universities effectively halting CPT opportunities for international students.
