HealthUNICEF Warns Over 347 Million Children Face Severe Climate Risks
UNICEF has issued a serious warning about the global climate crisis, highlighting that rising temperatures in the Pacific Ocean are rapidly changing weather worldwide. This threatens the lives, health, and education of over 347 million children in nearly 100 countries, including India. The 2026-2027 El Niño event could be one of the most severe in history, causing droughts, floods, malnutrition, and disease outbreaks, disrupting millions of children's schooling.
