Udupi Man Arrested for Supplying Businessmen's Numbers to Extortionist

Police in Udupi arrested 45-year-old Harish Poojary for allegedly providing mobile numbers of wealthy businessmen to underworld operative Hemanth Poojary. Hemanth is accused of threatening entrepreneurs in Udupi's Padubidri, Manipal, Kaup, and Shirva areas, demanding crores in extortion. Following the murder of David D'Souza, eight cases were registered. Harish confessed to supplying numbers during interrogation.
