Two Arrested After Former Councillor's Decomposed Body Found in Uttarakhand Gorge

In Uttarakhand's Bageshwar, two siblings were arrested after the decomposed body of 35-year-old lawyer and former municipal councillor Dhirendra Parihar was found in a deep gorge near the Gomti River. Missing since October 17, investigations revealed his last contact was with Lata Bhandari, who confessed to killing him in self-defense after an alleged assault attempt. The body was concealed under a cot.
