TVK Worker Arrested in Meth Trafficking Case, Udhayanidhi Stalin Criticizes Vijay

A Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) worker named Boobalan was arrested by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence in Nagapattinam for alleged methamphetamine trafficking involving around 135 kg worth several hundred crore rupees. The consignment was reportedly meant for smuggling to Sri Lanka. Boobalan has been expelled from TVK. Opposition leader Udhayanidhi Stalin criticized Chief Minister Vijay, questioning the government's anti-drug efforts and demanded a central agency probe.
