Trump Denies Plans to Replace White House Press Room with Pool

US President Donald Trump denied plans to remove the White House press briefing room and restore the historic swimming pool beneath it. On October 24, Trump said on Truth Social that while he might move reporters to a different location, he never considered bringing back the pool, calling such an idea "stupid." This follows reports that he had discussed the proposal with his press secretary.

Moscow to Host 2030 World Weightlifting Championships

Moscow will host the 2030 World Weightlifting Championships, the first major Olympic sports event awarded to Russia since its 2022 invasion of Ukraine, the International Weightlifting Federation announced. Ahmedabad, India, will host the 2029 edition. The 2030 Moscow event will also serve as a qualifier for the 2032 Olympics. Russian Weightlifting Federation president Aleksandr Vinokurov praised Russia's infrastructure and experience for hosting.

Man and Friends Arrested for IED Attack on Cousin in Bengaluru
