Treesa-Gayatri and Dhruv-Tanisha lose in Asian Games doubles quarterfinals

At the Asian Games in Nagoya, Indian women's doubles pair Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand were defeated in straight games by Malaysian world No. 5 Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan in the quarterfinals. The Indian pair, recent world championships bronze medallists, lost 18-21, 9-21. In mixed doubles, Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto lost a close match to world No. 1 Chinese pair Feng Yan Zhe and Huang Dongping 14-21, 21-18, 18-21.
