Tornado Watch Issued for Counties in North and South Carolina

The National Weather Service has issued Tornado Watch 680 for 10 counties in southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina, effective until 5 p.m. EDT Sunday. The watch covers six counties in North Carolina: Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover, Pender, and Robeson, and four counties in South Carolina: Dillon, Horry, Marion, and Marlboro. Several cities including Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, and Lumberton are also under alert.
