During the third T20 international against West Indies, Indian cricketer Tilak Varma was run out in a bizarre incident. Axar Patel hit the ball towards deep mid-wicket, but a diving save by Kamil Pooran prevented a boundary. Tilak and Axar mistakenly thought it was a four and walked back casually. Tilak was run out after Gudakesh Motie dislodged the bails before he reached the crease. Tilak later said he thought the ball had gone for four and didn’t see the save clearly.
