HealthThree Young Survivors Share Their Heart Attack Experiences on World Heart Day
Cardiovascular diseases cause 17.9 million deaths globally each year, with heart attacks and strokes responsible for over 80% of these deaths. In India, one in four men under 40 suffers a heart attack. On World Heart Day, three survivors aged 20s to early 40s share their stories, warning signs they ignored, and lifestyle changes they wish they had made earlier. One survivor, Saurabh Srivastava, experienced jaw pain mistaken for cold wind before his heart attack and underwent angioplasty with stents.
