Three MHA Officers Transferred After FCRA Bribery Arrests

Three senior officers in the Union Home Ministry's Foreigner-II division were transferred or prematurely repatriated to their parent cadres shortly after two junior bureaucrats were arrested for allegedly seeking bribes to clear pending Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) registrations. The arrested officials include a senior accountant and an accountant. The ministry has not commented on the transfers.
