Third Green Energy Corridor Phase to Add 51,126 ckm Lines, 50 GWh Storage
The Indian government approved the third phase of the Green Energy Corridor to boost renewable energy transmission. This phase will add over 51,000 circuit kilometres of transmission lines and install 50 GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems to store excess renewable energy. The project includes new infrastructure and upgrades managed by state transmission utilities.
