BusinessThieves Steal 30,000 Bottles of Wine Worth $5.6 Million in Tuscany
Around 30,000 bottles of wine valued at €5 million ($5.6 million) were stolen from Marchesi Antinori, a major Italian winery in Tuscany. At least seven masked thieves disabled security systems and used forklifts to load two trucks with prized wines like Tignanello and Solaia. CEO Renzo Cotarella called it Italy's largest wine theft and hopes authorities will recover the stolen bottles.
