Tesla Unveils New Roadster with SpaceX Thrusters, Production in 2028
Tesla revealed its redesigned Roadster equipped with rocket-style SpaceX thrusters at a launch event in Waco, Texas, on October 15, 2026. The white two-seater can drive upside down using a suction system, turn in the air, and land with built-in thrusters. Production is set to begin in 2028, over a decade after the initial next-generation model was shown. Tesla's EV sales have declined recently despite a Q3 boost from high gas prices.
