Telangana Tea Seller Sets Himself on Fire Outside Police Station

A 55-year-old tea stall owner in Nizamabad, Telangana, attempted suicide by setting himself ablaze outside a police station. Police said the man was distressed due to a dispute with a grocery shop owner who allegedly sent reporters to threaten him after he stopped buying cigarettes. Locals protested against a Sub-Inspector who had booked a petty case against the man. He was rescued and hospitalized.
