Telangana Police Bust Fake Currency Racket, Arrest Four

Telangana police teams from Abdullapurmet and Shadnagar SOT arrested four accused and seized fake ₹500 notes worth ₹6.78 crore. The suspects were caught on November 1, 2026, near Ramoji Film City on NH-65 during a car search. The arrested are Madupoju Karnakar, Chinnolla Manikya Reddy, Cherukupelly Rathnakar Reddy, and Karanam Ajay Kumar. Investigation continues to identify more gang members.
