Telangana HC orders private medical college to refund tuition fee after admission cancellation

The Telangana High Court directed a private medical college to refund ₹3.32 lakh tuition fee to student D. Shabari Priya after her BHMS admission was cancelled due to insufficient NEET score. Justice Juvvadi Sridevi ruled that the college cannot retain fees for a seat the student was not allowed to continue. The admission was cancelled by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences for scoring 128 marks against the required 144.

GST Revenue in September Rises 14.7%, Stays Above Rs 2 Lakh Crore

GST revenue collection in September increased by 14.7% year-on-year to Rs 2.04 lakh crore, marking the third consecutive month above the Rs 2 lakh crore mark.
