PoliticsTejas Mk1A Delivery Schedule Review Meeting Set After October 15
A review meeting on the Tejas Mk1A fighter jet program is scheduled for the second half of October to assess radar and weapon integration progress. Defence sources expect the first batch of jets to be delivered by the financial year-end. Production delays stem from global supply chain issues and late F404 engine deliveries from GE Aerospace. HAL has 27 airframes ready, but integration is pending. IAF Chief AP Singh acknowledged the delay's impact.
