Tata Motors reports that about 20% of its revenue comes from non-cyclical businesses, which it aims to grow as commercial vehicle demand slows. CEO Girish Wagh highlighted this on the Q2 FY27 analyst call, calling it a natural hedge against industry cyclicality. Q2 standalone revenue rose 42% to Rs 23,900 crore with 135,100 units sold. Q3 growth is expected to slow to high single or low double digits amid rising diesel prices and interest rates.
