Taslima Nasrin Visits Kolkata, Plans to Stay for Next Durga Puja

Noted author Taslima Nasrin has arrived in Kolkata for the second time since the state government changed. She is enjoying the city and plans to stay until Mahalaya to attend government celebrations at Eden Gardens. Although she cannot stay for this year's Puja, she will attend events on October 9 and 11 and promises to be in Kolkata for next year's Durga Puja, which she describes as a grand art exhibition. Nasrin also condemned idol vandalism in Bangladesh and urged the government to act against extremist militants.
