TARIL to Invest ₹12.5 Billion in Transformer Component Manufacturing

Transformers and Rectifiers (TARIL) will invest ₹12.5 billion to develop three greenfield projects at its Chiyada complex in Gujarat for manufacturing transformer components including bushings, insulation materials, and continuously transposed conductors (CTC). Construction began in December 2025, with commercial operations expected by Q1 FY 2028. The investment aims to reduce import dependence and boost India's transmission network, targeting ₹20 billion annual revenue.

GST Rules on Post-Sale Discounts and Export Refunds Change from November 1

From November 1, India will implement changes to GST rules affecting post-sale discounts, export refunds, and tax procedures.
