Tamil Nadu Sanctions 26 New POCSO Courts to Expedite Justice

The Tamil Nadu government has ordered the establishment of 26 new POCSO special courts and four NDPS special courts to speed up justice and combat crimes against women, children, and drug abuse. Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay directed this after reviewing pending POCSO cases, emphasizing prompt legal action and timely justice. Currently, 22 POCSO courts operate, with four more soon to open.
