Tamil Nadu Revises Housing Loan Limits for Urban Cooperative Banks

Tamil Nadu's Cooperation Minister V. Gandhiraj announced revised housing loan limits for Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs) and Urban Cooperative Credit Societies (UCCSs). The maximum individual loan limit for UCCSs is now ₹60 lakh for societies with deposits below ₹100 crore and ₹1 crore for those above ₹100 crore. UCBs have limits of ₹60 lakh and ₹1.40 crore respectively. The repayment period has been extended to 20 years to ease borrower burden.
