T. rex Found in South Dakota Now Displayed in Abu Dhabi Museum
In 1987, amateur fossil hunter Stan Sacrison discovered a T. rex skeleton in South Dakota. Initially misidentified, it was correctly identified as a T. rex in 1992. The skeleton was later sold for $31.8 million and is now exhibited in an Abu Dhabi museum, shown in a dramatic scene with another T. rex. Stan Sacrison's discovery has gained international recognition.
