T’Emi Oshin Becomes Wayne State’s First Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholar
T’Emi Oshin, a 20-year-old junior at Wayne State University studying public health and neuroscience, has become the first student from the university to be selected as an Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholar for 2026-28. The scholarship provides financial support, mentorship, and funding for a self-designed summer work experience. Oshin plans to learn from youth-led organizations in other communities during her scholarship tenure.
