Suzlon to invest ₹200 crore in Tamil Nadu wind blade plant

Suzlon Group is investing ₹200 crore to establish a 1 GW wind-blade manufacturing plant near Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. The facility will span 40 acres, have two production lines, and produce the S175 5 MW wind turbine blades. This expansion will create about 2,000 jobs, including 500 direct and 1,500 indirect roles, strengthening Suzlon's presence in the state and supporting India's growing wind power demand.
