Supreme Court Seeks Data on IPS Deputation in CAPF, Asks for Cadre Review Proposal...

The Supreme Court on Wednesday stated that the central government has not followed its previous instructions regarding cadre review of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The court directed the cadre review committee to submit its proposal for approval by November 30. The bench, led by Justices Manoj Mishra and Ujjal Bhuyan, sought data on IPS officers deputed to five CAPF forces, including BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB, up to the Senior Administrative Grade level, equivalent to IG rank.
