Supreme Court refuses Azam Khan's bail plea, directs HC to hear case

The Supreme Court on Thursday declined to entertain Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan's bail plea in a fresh money laundering case filed by the Enforcement Directorate. The bench urged the Allahabad High Court to hear the matter on November 16. Khan was arrested on October 31 related to alleged misuse of government funds in constructing Mohammad Ali Jauhar University in Rampur. His bail petition was transferred to the Allahabad High Court.
