The Supreme Court held an extraordinary hearing directing the Union government and Delhi Police to allow free movement of people, traffic, Metro, and rail services, subject to law and public order. The court issued notices to officials over alleged violations of an October 9 order banning outright Metro and public transport prohibitions. It also ordered review of barricades, restoration of internet, and lifting of prohibitory orders under Section 16.
