The Supreme Court on Tuesday gave petitioners 10 days to file a rejoinder to the Election Commission's affidavit regarding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's alleged unilateral decisions. The petitions claim several poll panel decisions, including those on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, were made without consensus. The court also issued notices on a plea about unauthorized changes in Form 6 during Bihar's SIR. Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi requested preservation of file notings and communications to examine the decision-making process.
