Supreme Court gives ECI four months to resolve TMC symbol dispute

The Supreme Court has set a four-month deadline for the Election Commission of India (ECI) to resolve the symbol dispute between rival Trinamool Congress factions. The court directed the factions to submit all evidence within four weeks, after which ECI will have three months to decide. The case follows Mamata Banerjee's plea challenging ECI's interim order freezing the party's symbol and name.
