Supreme Court directs portal for autism stem cell therapy patients

The Supreme Court has ordered the Centre to create an online portal within six weeks for patients undergoing stem cell therapy for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The portal will register patients, their caregivers, and medical practitioners involved. This follows a January 30 order restricting stem cell therapy to approved clinical trials only. The portal will include detailed medical records and treatment information.
