PoliticsSupreme Court directs Delhi High Court to hear Delhi Gymkhana Club petitions
The Supreme Court on Monday instructed the Delhi High Court to consider petitions filed by 11 members of the Delhi Gymkhana Club challenging the central government's decision to take possession of the club's 27.3-acre premises and subsequent eviction actions. The High Court had earlier refused to hear the petitions, stating only the club could challenge the decision. The Supreme Court allowed members to approach the High Court, noting the opposing party may raise objections.
