For Diwali 2026 on November 8, the Supreme Court has temporarily relaxed the firecracker ban in Delhi-NCR, permitting only certified green firecrackers on November 7 and 8 during specified hours. Strict conditions include QR codes, sealed packaging, and designated sale points. The complete ban resumes from November 9. Firecrackers with barium and conventional types disguised as green crackers remain banned to control pollution.
