Sun Pharma Q2 Profit Drops 36% Due to Exceptional Charges

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries reported a 36.4% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to ₹1,988.5 crore for Q2, impacted by exceptional charges of ₹1,268.8 crore related to its Organon acquisition and antitrust settlement. Adjusted net profit was ₹3,162 crore. Revenue grew nearly 12% to ₹16,198.7 crore. U.S. sales fell 8.2% to $455 million, about 27% of total sales.
