Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, known for hits like Khalnayak and Taal, criticized today's actors for focusing more on money than their craft. He recalled that actors in his era prioritized art and accepted only 40% fees, driven by story and character interest. Ghai noted that now actors have multiple income sources but face short-lived fame, unlike the past when art was paramount.
