HealthStudy Reveals Household Cleaners and Air Fresheners Produce Harmful Nanoparticles
A study by EPFL University researchers in Switzerland reveals that scented household cleaners and air fresheners produce harmful nanoparticles indoors. These particles form through chemical reactions with ozone and penetrate deep into the lungs, causing serious damage. The research, also supported by Purdue University, warns that these nanoparticles bypass natural respiratory filters and can lead to asthma, bronchitis, and lung inflammation, especially affecting children, elderly, and those with respiratory illnesses.
