Steve Jobs purchased a 30-room Spanish Colonial Revival mansion in Woodside, California, in 1984. The 17,000-square-foot house, built in 1925-26 for copper tycoon Daniel C. Jackling, featured a pipe organ and 14 bedrooms. Jobs lived there for about 10 years, then rented it out and stopped maintenance by 2000. The mansion was demolished in 2011 after legal battles, with key fixtures like the pipe organ and fireplace mantels salvaged for reuse.
