Starlink Awaits Final Clearances to Launch Services in India
Starlink, backed by Elon Musk, is ready to start satellite broadband services in India and is awaiting final government approvals, including security and foreign direct investment clearances. Lauren Dreyer, SpaceX VP, said the company is prepared to support India's goal of 100% connectivity and has already invested in over 20 gateway sites. Starlink has received IN-SPACe permissions and a GMPCS license.
