Stanford Scientists Grow Human Brain Tissue in Mice
Stanford scientists have developed a new model to study human brain development by transplanting lab-grown human brain tissue into mice. The transplanted tissue filled more than 90% of the missing cortex space in the mice, providing a novel way to observe human brain growth and development in a living organism.
