In Rajasthan's first phase of panchayat elections, Omprakash Bishnoi from Phalodi, who has over 1.4 million social media followers, received only 33 votes out of 1600 in the Indron Ki Dhani-2 panchayat. Despite his viral videos and large online presence, he failed to gain significant public support in the sarpanch election, highlighting the gap between social media popularity and real-world votes.
