Skyroot Plans $300M Funding to Scale Rocket Production

Skyroot Aerospace is negotiating a $300 million funding round in two tranches with different valuations to expand rocket production after its first orbital mission. The Hyderabad-based startup aims to raise $150 million from Indian family offices at a $2.3-2.5 billion valuation and another $150 million from global investors like General Catalyst and Benchmark at up to $3 billion valuation. This round could nearly triple Skyroot's valuation within five months.
