Singapore Airlines Booking Data of 46,000 Affected by Amadeus Breach
Singapore Airlines announced that about 46,000 booking records were potentially compromised in a cybersecurity breach involving its reservation provider Amadeus. Exposed data included customer names, booking references, travel itineraries, and booking classes. Around 620 records also had email, phone, travel document, and KrisFlyer membership details accessed. No bank or credit card data was leaked, and airline IT systems were unaffected. Affected customers will be contacted to change booking references as a precaution.
