SIC to Seek Clarification on Kochi Corporation's RTI Applicant Probe

The State Information Commission (SIC) plans to seek clarification from Kochi Corporation regarding its decision to hand over details of repeat RTI applicants to the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau for financial background checks. The SIC will discuss the issue in a meeting on Wednesday after taking suo motu notice. Commission sources stated the RTI Act does not limit the number of applications an individual can file.
