SIA Kashmir raids locations over Myanmar cyber scam job trafficking

The State Investigation Agency (SIA) Kashmir conducted searches at two locations in Kulgam and Qazigund investigating a human trafficking network that recruited youth with overseas job offers and sent them to Myanmar. Victims were allegedly forced into cyber fraud operations in Myawaddy. Residences of suspects Gulam Nabi Khanday and Ashiq Hussain Sheikh were searched, and evidence related to recruitment and financial links was seized.
