Shivamogga Airport will lose all air connectivity after Star Air suspends passenger flights from November 21. Star Air was the last commercial operator following IndiGo and SpiceJet's earlier withdrawals. Flights operated under the UDAN scheme, which ends financial support in November 2026, impacting regional services. Star Air flew to Goa, Hyderabad, and Tirupati. Shivamogga MP B Y Raghvendra said the suspension is temporary, with plans for new routes under UDAN-6.
